Falmouth Artists Guild Highlights

Last Chance to Register for Lois Griffel Workshop!

We have a few openings available.  Those interested should contact the office immediately.  Painting the Impressionist Landscape runs from September 19 through September 24.  Cost is $400 for members and $425 for nonmembers.  Her oil painting, "End of Day," is shown above.  Click Here for more information.

The NEW Sketchpad is now available for downloading on our Guild News page.

The Top 10 in 2010 will be featured in our lobby gallery from August 24 to September 21.  The title of the show refers to the artists whose works produced the most net revenue for The Guild in 2010 in the Cape Art and Soul event and the Tent Auction.  These artists, whose works are on display, are Rosalie Nadeau, Terry Dunn, Alfred Glover ("Fish" above), San Lyman, Ruth Leech, Ken Wakeen, Jim Musto, Ron Pointer, Hugh Gibbons, and Kathy Taylor.  We are grateful for our talented artists who donate excellent pieces to benefit the Guild.

Holly Pedlosky gets rave reviews for her photography workshops - making the most difficult subjects understandable and enjoyable in the process.  Pedlosky will be giving a workshop, Mastering Digital Photography: Using Adobe Photoshop, on 2 Saturdays, September 18 and 25.  The workshop will be limited to 8 students.  For more details, Click Here.

The All Media Fall Juried Art Show will be September 19 to October 10.  This is a very special show because of the variety of media on display, the spectacular floral interpretations of selected artworks by the Falmouth Garden Club, and the participation of our guest juror, Lois Griffel.  Artists should submit art works on Tuesday or Wednesday, September 14 or 15.  For more details, Click Here.  Shown above is "Sunset Field," by Joan Ledwith, awarded best pastel at last year's Fall Juried Show.
