POSTER CONTEST

February 25, 2008 to May 15, 2008
Falmouth Artists Guild

Submissions should be 13”x17”, not including any border. Contest is open to all.

The full race name, CIGNA Falmouth Road Race and/or the logo and the date August 10, 2008 must be on the poster. Logo available by email via Falmouthrr@aol.com

Entries will be accepted at the Falmouth Artists Guild through May 15, 3pm: 311 Rear Main Street or PO Box 660, Falmouth, MA 02541. Do not frame submissions. Digital submissions not accepted, although the printer may print from a digital file.

The poster committee will select the winner.

Cash Prize of $1000 for the winning submission.

All posters will be the property of the artist, except for the winning submission which will be the property of the Falmouth Road Race, Inc.

The winning artist must attend the Road Race Expo Saturday, August 9, 10am – 3pm, to sign posters.

A free exhibit of all submissions will be held at the Falmouth Artists Guild on Road Race weekend, Aug. 8 – 11, 2008. The Artists Guild will be open the Monday after the Road Race in recognition of this special event. Do not frame submissions.

The exhibit will be advertised in the race magazine, on the web sites www.FalmouthRoadRace.com and www.FalmouthArt.org, as well as the information sent to runners, and the Artists Guild’s newsletter.

The poster contest is coordinated by the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race & the Falmouth Artists Guild.
