Instructor: Tamara Clark
She has over ten years of experience as a Biological Illustrator, freelancing for scientists and organizations around the country. She currently works for the BioCurrents Research Center at the MBL, creating digital images of cells and their processes. She is also involved in a long-term project for the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, producing a collection of pen and ink illustrations which help to describe various species of freshwater fish from the Amazon. Her academic background is in Biology and Ecology and she is an active member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. She also produces a line of cards and prints of marine creatures which can be seen in local stores and galleries.
